When they were both new to Los Angeles, Andrew Stein met Mike Krol at the Edendale bar. A fast friendship would lead to The Sharp Medicine with Andrew handing vocals and guitar, Mike on drums, and Francis Capone on bass. Their record "45 Revolutions Per-Minute" would become a WFMU mainstay. Mike would go on to pursue a solo career while Andrew releases music as Mac Rae.
